The City of Elberton provides several parks and playgrounds to enjoy year-round. These facilities are maintained by the City and supported through tax dollars. The City encourages the use of its parks by residents and visitors alike.
Located on the south side of Elberton, the Granite City Trail is a 20-acre greenspace designed for community use. A paved walking trail meanders through the area along a tributary of Falling Creek. The trail is lighted and connects with downtown Elberton through city street sidewalks. The park includes several parking areas and a children’s playground on Brookwood Circle. Two covered picnic pavilions are located on Forest Hills Road, and the park has two public restroom sites. Access The Granite City Trail map here.
This trail sits on 2 acres on the north side of Elberton between Carey Street and W. Tate Street. A paved walking trail and two covered picnic pavilions are features of this park, as well as a children’s playground.
Located on a quarter-acre on the west side of town between Pulliam Street and McGinty Street, this park features a children’s playground and one covered picnic pavilion.
This playground sits on an acre on the east side of town between Campbell Street and Mill Street. It features a children’s playground and one covered picnic pavilion.
Four lighted tennis courts are available at the Hickory Drive Park located at 415 Hickory Drive. A multi-purpose field is also available.
